What do Plumbers do?
This role will install plumbing systems, analyze the engineering of plumbing systems and assess the quality of plumbing systems.Â
- Conduct Installation: Attach pipes to walls or other structures, assemble tubing and fittings and install appliances and fixtures.
- Analyze Engineering: Analyze blueprints, building codes and specifications. Draw up pipe systems and plan for installations and repairs. Keep records of work assignments.
- Assess the Quality of Plumbing: Inspect structures for defects, safety issues and inspect and test installed systems to determine functionality.
In addition to these highlights there may be other tasks/actions that you will be asked to participate in or complete that coincide with accomplishing the organization’s objectives that are broader than the direct responsibilities of this in-demand job.
Who manages you and who do you work with?
This role reports to the Plumbing Manager, Maintenance Manager, Building Manager, Building Owner or Tennant. You will work with engineers, construction teams, other plumbers and other specialized workers.

The information below is a range of what you could be offered. Compensation and total rewards vary from company to company and your level of proficiency, match, experience, knowledge, and geography.Â
- Total Compensation Range:Â $27,410-$61,640
- Employee Benefit, Programs, Perks: $5,000- $25,000 per yearÂ
- Paid Time Off and National Holidays Â
