A Career Coach for military members provides personalized guidance and support to help service members transition successfully from military life to civilian careers. They assess the skills, experiences, and interests of each individual to develop a customized career plan, providing resources and advice on job searching, resume writing, interview preparation, and networking. The Career Coach also assists in identifying education or training opportunities that align with the individual’s career goals and helps navigate any challenges or obstacles that may arise during the transition process. Ultimately, their goal is to empower military members to achieve long-term career success in the civilian workforce.

Key responsibilities include:

Assist military members in transitioning to civilian careers.
Provide guidance on resume writing, interviewing skills, and job search strategies.
Help identify transferable skills from military experience to the civilian workforce.
Offer support in exploring different career paths and industries.
Collaborate with clients to set realistic career goals and create action plans for achieving them.
