pepelwerk: Member Organizations – Vol 2 Q1 2024
Members join your organization for professional development, networking opportunities and ongoing education, etc. But why they join doesn’t explain or demonstrate what motivates them to join.
What we found is that people, in a member organization or not, have a growing concern about their relevancy and their financial stability.
The cause for these concerns varies by peoples’ personal circumstances, their perceptions of Artificial Intelligence and their satisfaction with their work.
MemberClicks has experience in helping member groups understand their potential members. Read more about their point of view.
When it comes to pepelwerk, we want more member organizations to help their members evolve with work. What’s unique about our offering is that when you implement pepelwerk for your members, you gain another fund raising source.
Leaders of member organizations have to keep operations running, fund raise and deliver member value.

According to USA Facts 2022 and Pew Research 2011, this is how people in the United States participate in member organizations and how many organizations are registered as a member organization.
With almost 2 million organizations, there are a few questions that leaders of member organizations will have to answer to keeping moving their missions forward:
The good news is that pepelwerk can help you solve all three.
There are polar opposite view points on the value and actual motivation of some of member organizations. United Way takes the position that they are one of the greatest tools of capitalist societies to create economic, social and civic health. The National Nonprofit Council’s view is that they are vehicles from redistributing wealth and targeting what is valuable to a society beyond the influence of government.
The opposite end, like the Milwaukee Independent, perceives member organizations as cover ups for bad behaviors of the wealthy or a way to collect cash. The reason people have these views is because they believe that social issues should be nonexistent if member organizations were doing what they were supposed to do.
Maybe these two opposing views are why we are so dedicated to making pepelwerk available to member organizations. We know the value of the connections and partnerships that can be created and we want you to demonstrate your impact to communities.
If you offer master classes, courses, certificates or licenses, we want to help you reach more learners.
Non-Profit Organizations, Unions, Industry Associations and Member Groups are designed to support continuity of your mission. Sometimes that means offering soft and technical skills training.
In the era where nothing requires a human connection anymore to complete, the value of interpersonal conversations becomes more important.
Ten years ago building your network was easier because we had to get out to meet people.
