May 2026 Product Release

Production release: May 19, 2026

This release improves how organizations manage payments, wallet balances, access codes, learning stipends, course enrollment, and program activity across pepelwerk. It also includes People Hub updates that make account setup and access-code redemption clearer for talent users.

More accurate billing and wallet activity
Purchase order, refund, wallet funding, and failed-payment flows were updated to make balances and payment status easier to trust.
Better access-code and sponsorship controls
Sponsorship review timing, access-code payment behavior, and program activity visibility were improved for organization teams.
Clearer Course Center decisions
Learning stipend visibility, enrollment consent, and course manager payment messages now provide better context at key moments.

What changed for organizations

Payments, invoices, and wallet balances

Org Portal payment workflows now handle purchase orders and wallet updates more consistently. Wallet top-ups made by purchase order are credited after payment completion, and refund scenarios now separate money added from money returned so reporting stays clearer.

Purchase order invoices are generated closer to the related payment activity, and organizations have clearer recovery options when a PO-based payment fails. The payment experience also better supports the Net-30 payment rule across invoice-based organization charges.

Suspended organization clarity

The Org Portal payments screen was adjusted to make payment listings and required actions easier to find. When an organization is suspended because of payment status, users receive clearer guidance about what needs attention.

Access-code sponsorship and activity

Access-code sponsorship requests now have a clearer review window. Requests that are not fully sponsored within the review period can return to draft status, helping teams avoid stale sponsorship requests and blocked access-code work.

Access Code Activity now includes additional visibility into whether talent users have a goal job connected to their activity. This helps program teams understand progress without opening each record one at a time.

Course Center and learning stipends

Course Center views now provide more useful Learning Stipend information across Matches, Learner Management, and Missed Opportunities. Teams can filter and review talent by stipend status where that data is available.

Learning Stipend details are preserved at enrollment so later changes do not rewrite the stipend state that applied at the time of the enrollment decision. Course managers also receive clearer messaging when a stipend covers only part of a course-related payment.

Enrollment consent and course visibility

Course enrollment flows were updated so enrollment can depend on mutual approval from both the talent user and the course manager when required. During this process, eligible stipend amounts can be held and then released if the request is rejected, expires, or the access code is deactivated.

Virtual reality career exploration copy

The Access Code Builder copy for VR Career Exploration Set delivery was updated so individuals have clearer expectations about address collection and delivery timing.

What changed for People Hub users

Simpler access-code redemption

The access-code redemption experience was streamlined by removing a goal-job prompt from the confirmation flow. This keeps users focused on redeeming their access code first.

More complete account setup

Age is now required for Account Settings to be considered complete. This helps pepelwerk maintain consistent baseline profile information before users continue into flows that rely on completed account settings.

More current activity data

Talent activity data is being updated closer to the moment users complete key actions, such as account setup, access-code redemption, goal-job selection, guidance scheduling, assessments, and stipend use. This helps pepelwerk provide more timely follow-up and program support.

Notifications and communication

This release removes a program-management renewal reminder that could create confusion for customers. Email delivery status from the product was also connected more cleanly to HubSpot so communication data is easier to reconcile.

Mobile app updates

Mobile updates related to this release were submitted to the app stores. The release note references iOS version 3.10.24 and Android version 40.16.27.
