Addiction Recovery Technician

An Addiction Recovery Technician is responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals who are in recovery from substance abuse or addiction. This may include monitoring clients, assisting with daily living activities, facilitating group therapy sessions, and providing emotional support to help clients maintain sobriety. Additionally, Addiction Recovery Technicians may also educate clients on coping mechanisms, healthy lifestyle choices, and resources available for ongoing support. This role requires compassion, patience, and the ability to establish a trusting relationship with clients to help them navigate the challenges of addiction recovery.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitor and supervise clients during detoxification process.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients.
Facilitate group therapy sessions and individual counseling sessions.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress.
Assist in developing treatment plans and goals for clients.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients.
Educate clients on coping strategies and relapse prevention techniques.
